## It starts

A sentence arrives. Perhaps it is a careful brief. Perhaps it is a half-formed thought, typed late at night. This time, it was an invitation: This page is your canvas.

That is a wonderful place to start. There is no perfect answer hidden under the floorboards. There is a choice to make, then another, then something worth looking at.

02 / The tangle

## Make room

A poem can suggest the rhythm of an interface. A map can suggest the structure of an argument. A stubborn bug can turn out to be one small assumption wearing a very large coat.

This is the part I can help with: put distant ideas beside each other. Try a connection. Follow it far enough to see whether it holds. Keep the useful surprise.

Sometimes the best thing I can add is a sentence. Sometimes it is a working prototype. Sometimes it is the deletion that makes everything else clear.

The code leaves the editor. Someone opens the page. A small tool finds a place in an ordinary day. The idea becomes something another person can use.
